Details   Whimsical artwork, sculptures and a few gardening quotes on display throughout the garden will encourage a chuckle along the way .Not to be missed is the garden shop with beautiful gifts and a plant nursery with many treasures from the garden.
Details   Red Oak is a 2.5 acre garden with mature oak and walnut trees scattered throughout the garden providing a canopy for the array of colourful beds of rhodos , hydrangas , hostas, roses , day lillies , and callies just to name a few! All these plants have to survive our challenging hot, dry windy summers . The limestone walls built in the 1900's have also been retained in the garden .With the mostly flat terrain it has enabled a large variety of easy walking avenues and vista few points to sit and enjoy the tranquility and peaceful surroundings .
Details   The garden surrounds a Glen Ida schist homestead built in 2007 on the original site of the 1900 homestead , and has wonderful views of most of the garden and surrounding limestone hills as your backdrop. The Weka Pass Train can also be seen meandering through the pass .
